Platform installation: On Saturday, September 5 and 6 2026. The platformist being lowered to a depth of 20 meters.
We need 10 people each day who hold an Advanced or Deep Diving specialty certification and are willing to help out.

Club Meet-up: We’re launching a brand-new lecture series featuring "Holiday Experiences" and 
"Reports on Nature and Biology." Everyone is welcome. It kicks off on July 1, 2026, with a talk on 
"Providencia, Colombia." We’ll also use this time to finalize details for the Geiseltal trip.

Cleanup at Steinberger See – date and location to follow.

Grevelingen Meer: Klaus & Anja are heading to the Grevelingen Meer (Netherlands) 
from September 26 to October 3, 2026—we’ve already booked. Anyone interested in joining? 
Feel free to get in touch with them at the club meet-up.

Nuremberg Regulars‘ Table – always the first Tuesday of the month

Velden Regulars‘ Table – always the first Wednesday of the month – but no pool training on this day!

TÜV Drop-off Dates

June 27, July 17, August 7, and August 29.2026

Please drop off your bottles in Nuremberg or Velden! Please note: we always require a minimum number of bottles. If we don’t reach this number, your bottle will be sent for TÜV inspection at the next scheduled appointment. Thank you for your understanding.

Maintenance

For your information: Servicing for Scubapro gear can be done at any time. 
However, due to longer wait times for spare parts, servicing for Apeks, Aqualung, and Atomic equipment may take a little longer.

Please note that the lead time for maintenance is approximately four weeks. 
We're always here for you if you have any problems. If you need new equipment, feel free to ask us anytime. 
We carry a variety of gear from well-known manufacturers and are happy to advise you!

Diving with Ludwig

Red Sea Diving Safari (Oct 1–8, 2026): Fully booked.

If you are interested in another diving cruise (Red Sea or Maldives), please contact Ludwig 
to arrange an additional trip date.

The Danube Swim (through the Danube Gorge)—organized jointly with DUC Nuremberg—is scheduled 
for July 26, 2026 (subject to Danube water levels).

Whitsun Diving Trip 2027 to the Côte d’Azur: Some participants have already pre-booked 
their accommodation for this popular trip!

Grevelingenmeer

Klaus & Anja are heading to Grevelingenmeer (Netherlands) from September 26 to October 3 – Why not join us? We’d be happy to share more details at the regular meetup.

Joint diving weekend at Lake Geiseltal in Saxony from July 3rd to 5th, 2026

Lake Geiseltal offers fantastic dive sites with mostly excellent visibility. There’s something for every level: from beginners to experienced deep divers, and non-divers are also welcome. We’ll be diving with Tauchzentrum Geiseltal and have already reserved rooms at the nearby Landgasthof Hotel Lindenhof in Bad Lauchstädt, where we can also get together in the evenings. We have reserved some rooms – bookings via Christian or Anja & Klaus.

Price per night for a double room is €104 including breakfast. Base fees and tank fills (up to 300 bar) are additional. If you’d like to participate, please register with Christian by March 31st, 2026 at the latest.

Pool training takes place every Wednesday from 7:00 PM at the Betzenstein outdoor pool (except the first Wednesday of the month – that’s our regular meeting!). Please always register in advance!

Please note: If you need to rent equipment, let us know in advance at our shop and pick it up there in good time!

Note: Pool entry, price per tank & air, is €15 for non-members of the diving club. Club members pay only half price for tank rental. Pool entry only: €5. Everyone is welcome to join, but please always register in advance!
