The Geiseltal excursion in early July was great fun! See the report below 😉

The platform installation scheduled for September 5th and 6th has been cancelled! Not enough people signed up, and with the holiday season keeping some away, we couldn’t gather enough helping hands.

Club Meet-up: As part of the new lecture series featuring „Holiday Experiences“ and „Reports on Nature and Biology,“ September’s session will cover the lakes in Saxony (near Leipzig)—an up-to-date report.

The Steinberger See cleanup has been cancelled! Unfortunately, there weren’t enough volunteers for this event either.

The summer party has been cancelled!

Pool Training: Starting in September—once the Betzenstein outdoor pool closes—pool training will move back to the Hersbruck thermal baths.
Due to new rules at the thermal baths, training will no longer take place every week! You can find the scheduled dates in the related section.

Nuremberg Regulars‘ Table – always the first Tuesday of the month
Except in September and October! In those months, it is the 2nd Tuesday.

Velden Regulars‘ Table – always the first Wednesday of the month – but no pool training on this day!

TÜV Drop-off Dates

August 29, September 19, October 10, November 20

Please drop off your bottles in Nuremberg or Velden! Please note: we always require a minimum number of bottles.
If we don’t reach this number, your bottle will be sent for TÜV inspection at the next scheduled appointment. Thank you for your understanding.

 

Maintenance

For your information: Servicing for Scubapro gear can be done at any time. 
However, due to longer delivery time for spare parts, servicing for Apeks, Aqualung, and Atomic equipment may take a little longer.

Please note that the lead time for maintenance is approximately four weeks. 
We're always here for you if you have any problems. If you need new equipment, feel free to ask us anytime. 
We carry a variety of gear from well-known manufacturers and are happy to advise you!

Diving with Divesector

A group diving weekend at Geiseltalsee in Saxony—it was a great time!

A group of ten—including nine divers—visited the Geiseltal Diving Center.
Our first dive took us to the magical underwater forest, which everyone absolutely loved.
For the second dive, we headed to „the Aquarium.“ To wrap things up on Sunday, part of the group dove at the main beach, while three others went looking for the intake structure on the southern shore.
The evenings naturally involved a group meal, a „deco beer“ or two, and plenty of tall tales from the divers.

Warning: You might just find yourself coming back for more! 😉

Cold-water gear includes a second first stage; we’re happy to advise you.

Please note: If you need to rent equipment, let us know in advance at our shop and pick it up there in good time!

Note: Pool entry, price per tank & air, is €15 for non-members of the diving club. Club members pay only half price for tank rental. Pool entry only: €5. Everyone is welcome to join, but please always register in advance!
