New Year, New Underwater Adventures! 😉
We’ve also arrived in 2026 feeling great and full of energy. So here’s a preview of this year’s highlights:
Opening Dive: On Saturday, April 4th, 2026, we’ll be opening the diving season at Lake Murner, beach area (close to the tower), at 2:00 PM. All interested should register with Christian. Air is free for all participants.

Main River Film Festival: Starting March 13th, there will be a series of lectures on the topic of water and climate along the Main River at various locations on different days. Further information can be found at www.mainflussfilmfest.de Klaus and Anja will also be there on the 13th and 15th 😉

Group Trip: Geiseltal in July This year, we’re offering a long weekend for everyone interested – we’re looking forward to it! (See Dates for details)

Nuremberg Regulars‘ Table – always the first Tuesday of the month

Velden Regulars‘ Table – always the first Wednesday of the month – but no pool training on this day!

TÜV Drop-off Dates
March 14 and April 2, 2026
ATTENTION: There are no TÜV (Technical Inspection Association) appointments in May and June! The next appointment will be in July!
Please drop off your bottles in Nuremberg or Velden! Please note: we always require a minimum number of bottles. If we don’t reach this number, your bottle will be sent for TÜV inspection at the next scheduled appointment. Thank you for your understanding.
Maintenance
Before starting in the new season, it’s time to check: Have my regulators been serviced? Are the tanks up to date? What about my BCD and other equipment? Does the dive computer need a new battery? What needs replacement or service?
Please note that the lead time for maintenance is approximately four weeks. We’re always here for you if you have any problems. If you need new equipment, feel free to ask us anytime. We carry a variety of gear from well-known manufacturers and are happy to advise you! Please also check out our special offers below!
Diving with Ludwig
Whitsun Holiday Diving Trip to the French Riviera. Departure – for those who wish – one week before the official start of the holidays: from April 18, 2026. Further information available from Ludwig.
Diving with Divesector
Opening dive: On Saturday, April 4, 2026, we’ll be opening the diving season at Lake Murner, beach area (close to the tower), at 2:00 PM. All interested should register with Christian. Air is provided free of charge for participants.
Joint diving weekend at Lake Geiseltal in Saxony from July 3rd to 5th, 2026
Lake Geiseltal offers fantastic dive sites with mostly excellent visibility. There’s something for every level: from beginners to experienced deep divers, and non-divers are also welcome. We’ll be diving with Tauchzentrum Geiseltal and have already reserved rooms at the nearby Landgasthof Hotel Lindenhof in Bad Lauchstädt, where we can also get together in the evenings. Everyone books their own rooms, referencing Divesector. A few rooms are blocked for us.
Price per night for a double room is €104 including breakfast. Base fees and tank fills (up to 300 bar) are additional. If you’d like to participate, please register with Christian by March 31st, 2026 at the latest.

Pool training takes place every Wednesday from 7:00 PM (except the first Wednesday of the month – that’s our regular meeting!) at the Fackelmann Therme in Hersbruck. Please always register in advance!
Please note: If you need to rent equipment, let us know in advance at our shop and pick it up there in good time!
Note: Pool entry, price per tank & air, is €15 for non-members of the diving club. Club members pay only half price for tank rental. Pool entry only: €5. Everyone is welcome to join, but please always register in advance!
