There will be no regular meeting in Velden in September – summer break! It won’t be back until October! Instead, there will be a lecture on conservation diving, and we look forward to your participation.

 

And please note the new opening hours in Velden!

Installation of training platform – new date!

Meeting point: Friday, October 10th, at 3:00 PM on the north shore of Lake Murner – dismantle the old platform and remove it from the lake, preparations and start of installation of the new 3-meter platform.

Meeting point: Saturday, October 11th. At 10:00 a.m. on the north shore of Lake Murn – installation of the new 3-meter platform. Then we can further optimize our training there! More platforms are also being planned.

People wanted! We need several more people for this (and if you have them, please bring lift bags). Perhaps someone has a chain lying around? 25 meters long with a 6-8 mm diameter?

Of course, air cylinders will be available free of charge for the helpers! Please let us know that you’ll be there.

 

Regular meeting – always the first Tuesday/Wednesday of the month – no pool training here!

Nuremberg: Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the „Wilder Jäger,“ starting at 7:00 PM. 

Velden: Attention! We´re closed for the summer in September! Then again on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Goldener Hirsch, Hirschbach, starting at 7:00 PM with a lecture on conservation diving.

 

TÜV Drop-off Dates

September 27, 2025 and October 18, 2025

Please return the cylinders in Nuremberg or Velden by the specified date! One more note: we always require a minimum number of cylinders. If we don’t reach this number, your cylinder will be included in the next TÜV inspection. Thank you for your understanding.

 

Revisions

The first ones have already been diving! But some are taking a short break from diving during winter season. So now would be a good time to check your equipment and, if necessary, bring it in for an revision. Please note that the lead time for revisions is approximately four weeks. If you have any problems, we are always here for you. If you need new equipment, please contact us at any time. We carry various equipment from leading manufacturers and are of course happy to advise you! Please also check out our offers below!

Pool training takes place every Wednesday from 7:00 PM (except the first Wednesday of the month – this is our regular meeting!)
in the Betzenstein outdoor swimming pool. Please always register!

Please: If you need rental equipment, please contact us in advance at the shop and pick it up in advance at the shop!

Note: Pool entry, price per tank & air, is €15 for non-members of the diving club. Club members pay only half the price for tank rentals. Pool entry only: €5. Everyone is welcome to come along, but please always register in advance!
